Little Trip

We went to Savannah this weekend and stayed with Andrew's oldest brother, Aaron, and his wife Kathy and our 4 year old nephew Corban and their newest addition, Nolan!  We got there Thursday afternoon and Riggs napped and then we went to the Tybee that evening.  Friday morning we went to the beach and then after naptime we went to the pool with A and K and the kids and then to The Crab Shack on Tybee for dinner..YUMMY crab legs:).  Saturday we went to a birthday party with them for one of Corban's little friends.  It was at a park in Savannah with a little water area and Riggs loved it!  Here are some pics of our weekend (crazy how we are no longer in any pictures and it's all of our baby!)

Riggs 1st Taste

We made blueberry muffins for breakfast this morning (out of the box of course!:)) and we let Riggs "lick" the spatula.  He couldn't exactly figure out how to lick it, but he would open his mouth, stick his tongue out and then BITE it.  Sweet boy!

I think he liked it:)



Mother's Day Weekend

    First, here is a look back....

My First Mother's day 2011

       We had a good weekend spent with my family.  My mom and dad came Friday afternoon and we went and got pizza for dinner and came home and hung out.  Saturday morning we went to waffle house and then to the Marietta Farmer's Market. My bro and his gf came Saturday afternoon and we cooked dinner and enjoyed time at home playing.  Sunday we went to church and had lunch with Tanner and Rachael.  Mom and dad headed back early because daddy hasn't been feeling well! 

     If you read this and know the Lord, please pray for my daddy.  They are changing around his medications and twice now he has had 103 or greater temp and chills/sweats and just feels HORRIBLE! Please pray that the doctors would find the correct medication and that most of all he would begin to feel better.  They say that his numbers look great on the lab work but it hasn't been shown true in the way he feels.

I am so thankful to the Lord to be able to be Riggs' mama!  What a blessing it has been so far.  It also makes me realize how much my parents sacrificed for me!  I am thankful for my mom and her continued willingness to give and to help me even as an adult.  Ever so thankful also for the fact that Riggs, unlike me, is able to know and spend time with both sets of grandparents and I pray that he has many, many more years with them.

Play Days

 Just a few pics over the past 2 or 3 weeks of playing with my sweet boy!  He is now 14 months old and changing every day.  He is walking like a champ. He loves to make animal noises and so far is great with--cow, dog, elephant, snake, lion and fish. The only words he has under his belt well are dog, dada and up.  Love him to pieces!
