On to the next thing...Little buddies first bath. Just want to document some pics and the video for the grandparents to see. We actually got fussed at by mom and my brother, calling Riggs Crusty Jr. (some of you will get that nickname) because we waited until Friday after we got home on Monday to give him a bath....so it was a full week:) We were in the hospital for 4 days and then the hustle and bustle of figuring things out at home made the time fly by! We are doing better at making sure that Riggs doesn't follow in his daddies footsteps as far as bathing is concerned!:)
an·ec·dote (nk-dt A short account of an interesting or humorous incident. My attempt at recording and hopefully keeping up with interesting and humorous events in our little family!

Catch Up
I am sure the day will come when I don't have nearly as much time to do this, but while this little babe sleeps in my lap I want to play catch up on what has gone on the past 3 weeks so that I don't quickly forget! We came home from the hospital on Monday, March 7th and adjusted to life with our new baby boy. We are still learning him as he is learning us! We love his lips and the faces he makes with those plump little things. We wish that his little legs would always fold in the fetal position as he loves to lay on daddy's chest all curled up in a ball. We went to his first pediatrician appointment on Thursday...it was scheduled for Friday but little buddy was turning slightly yellow and sure enough his bilirubin count was elevated, so that took us back again on Friday to monitor it. All was well. He weighted 7 lbs 13.5 oz at this appt. His 2 week appt went well also as he was back to his birth weight and all signs of jaundice...gone! Thank you Lord for a healthy baby boy!
So that's a quick recap. We are so thankful for parents, friends, our sunday school class, and the high school ministry that we serve with for bringing us meals and supporting us as we adjust at home! Such a blessing to have people that love us and are willing to serve the Lord by serving us.
Pictures from the day we brought our baby boy home...
