Baby Showers for baby #3

We have been so blessed to have two different diaper showers for baby #3!  My friends from the gym planned a dinner for me at Classic on Noble and my co-workers had a sweet shower for me at work.

THIS happened! (R and H share a room!)

In preparation for baby #3 we wanted to go ahead and move Harpin and Riggs into the same room.  Mainly to give Harpin time to adjust before we brought on another change, baby bro or sis.

They have done GREAT!  The first few nights were difficult for Harpin to fall asleep. But, once she was asleep she did not get out of her bed.  It's so cute, and sometimes aggravating, to hear them talk to one another and play as they fall asleep for nap or bedtime.

Riggs Plays TBall

Riggs played his first season of Tball in Oxford with 4 and 5 year olds.  His team was Lylia's Poodle Boutique!

He did a great job playing and loved being on the team.  He was too cute with his bat bag and all his gear. He got the opportunity to play all different positions and got to be a good little hitter.

Here are some pictures to sum up the season.

Riggs is 4!

Riggs turned FOUR on March 4th!

I'm so thankful for a healthy, growing boy!

He checked out great at is well check up and even did great with his shots.  He weighs 40lbs and is 42.5 inches tall.
Riggs is our more reserved, conscientious, laid back boy.  He definetely takes after his daddy and Papa in that manner.  When he's around people he's comfortable with he becomes much more extroverted and feeds off of people.  He loves playing ouside, especially anything tball (catch, hitting, running the bases).  He thrives on a nighttime routine and if he can't get a bath, take his medicine, read a bible story, say prayers and then snuggle and watch a show the night is not right!  He has an incredible memory and makes us laugh when he tries to recall something yet doesn't know the difference in times yet.  For example, he will say "remember that times yesterday, a long time ago when..." It's hilarious!  He loves to pick out his own clothes and always wants to wear something out of his "tball drawer" i.e.- gym shorts and dri fit tshirt.  He LOVES his sisters and I love watching him in his role as big brother. He is a great helper.  He has his first season playing tball this year and loved it.  Thankfully, he still takes naps and lays down usually around 1 and sleeps until 3-3:30pm and goes to bed around 8pm and is up no later than 6:30am.

Let's see what he has to say as a big 4 year old...

Swimming Lessons

We signed Riggs and Harpin up for their 1st swimming lessons with the YMCA.  Riggs class had 4-5 other kids and he go in with just his teacher.  Harpin just had one other little girl and we got in with them.  I was 8 months pregnant getting in the pool with her and it was COLD!

Riggs did great and caught on fairly quickly, although he did not learn to swim without swimmies in this class(that came a little later in the summer).

Harpin struggled the first few times and then got the hang of it.  She learned to kick her feet and paddle her hands and to blow bubbles.

23 weeks with #3!

Go figure that I can't seem to even keep up with every four week posts:(.
But, here we are 24 weeks this week and I'm just now posting the pic from last week.  Our 20 week ultrasound went well and we are beyond thankful for a healthy baby and pregnancy thus far.  It was so hard not to find out the gender but we are getting excited about that moment when we find out! It's getting interesting hearing peoples predictions.

I'm feeling good and thankful to still be getting to the gym 2-3x a week and hoping to get back into a little more cardio since I'm not running with the cold weather.

Riggs loves to talk about whether he will have a baby brother or sister and try to name the baby silly names.  Harpin just pulls my shirt up and looks and then covers it back up:)  She loves to "rock rock" her babies and feed them now so that should make things interesting once the baby gets here.

Here is baby boy or girl Anderson at 23 weeks!

16 Weeks with #3

I kinda missed out on blogging about the big news:)  We are expecting #3!!! We are due April 28, 2015.  We are super excited and thankful.  I have felt exactly the same as I feel like I did with the first two only maybe a little more exhausted this time.  Thankfully I never have real sickness, fatigue and a sensitive gag reflex have marked my pregnancies and I'm thankful for just that.

Here is how we announced we were pregnant to our families.  We were celebrating Harpin's 1st Birthday (only a few months late:) )

A little behind on posting pregnancy updates this go round.  But, I don't want #3 to be left out so I'm going to do my best to do pics and an update to atleast go with every doctors appointment.
