My Little Beauty

We came home from church last Sunday and I couldn't resist taking some pictures of my girl!  No one here appreciates a pretty, simple smocked dressed, sweet little bow and some monogrammed bloomers, but this mama was eating up her cuteness!

Comparison

It's funny that I thought they looked alike when they were born and now I don't really see any similarities other than SWEET, PRECIOUS BABIES:)

Harpin is 3 months!

Harpin turned 3 months old while we were home visiting and then I came back and worked all weekend so I am just now getting to putting up pictures and what she's been up to this month.

Here's a little of what you have been up to sweet baby girl...
  • You found your hands this week and its so cute to see you bring them up to your face and get them into your mouth.
  • You have decided to do away with being fully swaddled.  Every night you would either wake up or when I went in to get you in the morning your arms would be all the way out.  So for the past two weeks we just put the swaddler on and wrap it around your legs only.
  • You found your voice within the past 2 weeks.  I love to hear you talk talk talk:)
  • You are still in size 1 diapers.
  • Moving in to size 3-6month clothing.
  • You nurse every 3-4 hours and we are getting into a more regular 4 hour schedule now.
  • You sleep from 9pm to about 6am and occasionally wake up to eat around 3am.
  • You are great at tummy time and love to lift your head up.
  • I think the conclusion after going home is that you look like your cousin Georgia!
  • You are so easy going and laid back.  The past 2 weeks any time we look at you you just smile a big grin.
  • You met your Papa and GranStan and all your Aunts, Uncles and cousins, for the first time last week! They love you and think you are beautiful.
  • You have been sick for the first time this week and it breaks my heart to see my babies not feeling well:(.
We love you baby girl.

What's Next?

Good question Tara!:)  I wish I knew what was next.  It's interesting because over the past few years when I am anxious and wondering this exact question I realize that I have absolutely NO control over it!  It's not like we have several doors open and we have to try to decide which one is best or God's plan.  It is literally just waiting to see what unfolds and find joy in where we are!

Andrew finishes his intership the end of this month.  We are almost FINISHED!  So, he had an interview Monday at a prison in Red Granite, WI, about 45 min. from where we live now and he had an interview in Oshkosh today(where he is interning now).  He has also applied to two jobs closer to home and we are just waiting to find out about those.

I pray specifically that if God's plan is for us to stay here that He would do a work and change my heart in that direction.  But, I also pray specifically that Andrew would get the job in Estill, SC (1hr. and 1/2 from home, he has family that lives there, 1hr from Hilton Head) and that I would be able to cut back working and stay at home with my babies!  Those are my two main prayers. In the midst of praying specifically, I also know that His plan is BEST.  So, hopefully this will all unfold in the next month or so and we will know what lies ahead a little bit.  I am such a planner and it's killing me to sit and wait on what's next!

SO, What's next?? I DUNNO!

But, I will leave you with a little sweetness...

7 Years!

Our SEVENTH anniversary was last Monday!  Seven years...I can't believe that it was been that long.  It is crazy to think that we have been together for a total of 13 years.

It's funny, on the day of our anniversary we both posted almost the same thing on facebook.  Seven years, two children, 3 houses, 3 cities, 2 states, 4 or more jobs, and many more exciting times ahead!  I'm so thankful that God blessed me with Andrew as my husband.  I won't make this a dating post, but I'm thankful that God spared me of alot of heart ache and allowed me to marry the first guy I even dated and ever loved!  What a blessing!

I wish I had a lot of pics of us from the past when we were much younger, skinnier, not nearly as wise:) but that's a project from another day.
